EDWARDIAN PLATINUM DAISY RING SET - RARE DIVINE FIND!

Did you know that daisies are believed to be more than 4000 years old? Of course, I don't know how anyone knows that, but the longer I live, the more I realize how little I know LOL.

But what I do know is that diamond daisy rings have been one of the most popular items in our DIVINE FINDS JEWELRY SHOP at RUBY LANE.  There's just something about the design that grabs our visitors the instant we list one in our shops. It will end up on several wish lists and rarely lasts long enough for someone to think about buying it because someone else smartly scoops it up.

Perhaps it's the design as shown in this photo of one of our past diamond daisy rings (sold some time back):

Perhaps it's the love affair we humans have with circles ie. the circle of life, and daisy rings always are circular with a larger diamond surrounded by a circle of smaller diamonds. Or perhaps it's the symbolism  of daisies ie. daisies symbolize romance, patience, innocence and eternal love.

Whatever the reason for the popularity and desirability of daisy rings, imagine our excitement at coming across, not a ring this time but a truly rare DIAMOND DAISY NECKLACE AND DANGLING EARRING SET at one of those high end auctions we frequent. This beauty just took our breath away!

This Edwardian period set which dates to probably around 1910 is in incredible condition and the diamonds are out of this world high quality gorgeous and sparkling. The glorious "dangling" necklace contains about 1.30cts of VS - Si1/2 clarity. The dangling earrings each have about 0.63cts, for a total of 1.26cts. Do the math: that's over 2 1/2 cts of fantastic diamonds to adorn your neck and ears. If you have a ring that matches this, what a parure! What a collector's set!

Please click on the link above to learn more about this utterly brilliant set and see more photos. Add it to your Christmas wish list. I doubt that even the lady who has everything has a set like this!
